Suspended Production 3/23/20 - 3/30/20

The rapidly evolving Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic has resulted in significant changes to the economy and our business. Honda announced yesterday that they will be suspending production at all North American facilities from March 23 to March 30. That means TS Tech’s productions demands will be significantly decreased, but not entirely eliminated.

Beginning March 23 through March 30, most production at our facility will be suspended. Your management team will meet with you to discuss which associates will still be required to support the remaining business demands. For those who are not needed for these business demands, your management team will discuss with you when you will be expected to return to work. Our facility will be staffing appropriately to ensure smooth production startup on March 31. During this period of suspended production, we will also be increasing cleaning efforts at this facility.

TS Tech is taking these drastic measures both to meet our customer demand, but also to care for the safety of our associates and the communities in which we operate. We understand that these are difficult and uncertain times for everyone. We greatly appreciate the work you all do for TS Tech. We are pleased to announce that all associates, whether on suspended or normal production, will be receiving full pay for this period of suspended production.

In addition to suspended production, effective immediately, TS Tech is instructing management at all facilities to identify those individuals who can perform their roles remotely to begin remote work. Government at all levels has stressed the importance of removing as many people from businesses as possible in order to maximize the safety for everyone.

We anticipate there will be more updates in the days and weeks to come and we will communicate with you all as soon as possible. In the meantime, if you have questions, please speak with your management.

Thank you.
